Kira Fercho

Kira Fercho is a modern impressionist painter known for her thick and juicy original oil paintings. She has been trained in Russian Impressionism and Western Tonalism and paints what she knows best: the land, the people, and the culture of the West, Montana in particular.

Kira creates spaces through scope, scale, color palettes, and subject matter. She thrives on collaborating with her client's vision, from initial design to installation. Her work is comfortable in modern corporate offices in LA and the Billings Clinic Atrium, the largest medical center in a 3-state area. She can create a body of appropriate and emotional work, and she appreciates the subtleties.

Kira is best known for her tipi and aspen paintings, which have become a muse for her, transcending earth and sky and touching both this world and the next. Living in Big Sky country, specifically in eastern Montana, Kira's experience of seeing vast expanses of land framed by large, open skies influences her artwork and worldview.

You can find Kira's paintings in six national galleries, 2 museums, and the White House. In addition, her artwork is owned by everyday people and celebrities such as Emmy Lou Harris, Karen Pence, and Dan Rather.
